If I pull the slide back and ease it forward, the hammer stays back, then the slide hangs up when almost at the forward most travel, then the hammer snaps down What I was referring to in my question was this procedure - gun on safe, pull the slide back, let it go forward, hammer follows. If it is on fire, hammer back, and then switch to safe the hammer drops So I imagine made at least sometime last year, at minimum
